Intel’s Haswell is possibly the best proof we currently have that the giant CPU maker is really suffering the desktop computer market.
Its overpriced CPU with useless iGPUs don’t really seem to appeal to buyers and AMD’s more capable and affordable APUs are taking overthe market.
Microsoft has announced that the 11.1 feature set here and it includes shader tracing and compiler enhancements, Direct3D device sharing, check support of new Direct3D 11.1 features and formats, process video resources with shaders, extended support for shared Texture2D resources and other useful features.
It seems that next year’s powerful iGPU from Intel will finally be able to take on last year’s Llano. That’s quite a bit behind AMD, but they’re getting there.
