Maybe for some people who are accustomed to using Windows, IDM is an application downloader that is widely used on windows.. Well, if you've just migrated to linux, and confused what the best downloader for linux and easy to install. You can follow my tutorial below. I use Multiget in Firefox.
How to install multiget to be integrated with Firefox is as follows, the first step is to open Firefox, then Tools -> Add-ons -> Get Add-ons look FlashGot.
Then select the Add to Firefox, and let it installed.
After FlashGot is installed, restart Firefox. Next we will install multiget. Now open a terminal and type sudo apt-get install multiget (I use linux mint helena). Wait until the multiget installation process is complete.
Well, in Firefox (which you have just restart), select Tools -> FlashGot -> More Options, then click Add, then enter download manager name: Multiget
then find the location of multiget located in /usr/bin/multiget, and press Open, the last fill [url = URL] [refer = Referer] on the command line arguments.
Now when we want to download something, we can choose FlashGot - Multiget.
Choose Save File then OK
