The full frame camera would be smaller and lighter than the Nikon D700 , but according to rumors, Nikon D800 has the highest resolution ever for a Nikon digital SLR camera. With 36 megapixels sensor, intakes of 7360 × 4912 resolutions competle with modern cameras, including medium-sized format.
A look at the back reveals that Nikon D800 has a new design that includes replacing the focus mode switch to a dedicated button for changing modes between still shots and videos.
Capturing video can be previewed on the LCD screen bigger with 1080px resolution at 30 fps.
While there is not much information about the other details of this new Nikon camera, would have an autofocus system similar to the D700. An unusual detail is that the new D800, there will be slots for CompactFlash and SD cards.
Nikon D800 has not released the date of release, and Sunqu could have a presentation at the end of 2011, shipments will be arriving probably in early 2012.
