T-Mobile USA - Android 4.0 ICS Update Roadmap and New Device Launch Dates Leak
While Google continues to blame carriers for delaying the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade for the devices in their portfolios, some of them have tried to offer approximate time frames for the release of the updates.
However, most of them are still mum on the subject, probably because they're thinking that customers will switch to new devices that come with Ice Cream Sandwich platform out of the box.
This might be one of the reasons, but there might be others who will probably never be made publicly known.
Anyway, after Sprint came forward with a short statement a few days ago, in which the carrier confirms some of its devices will receive the long-awaited Android 4.0 ICS update by the end of the year, we've got new info about the other US-based carriers.
The folks over at TmoNews managed to get their hands on a T-Mobile USA internal document that confirms Android 4.0 ICS updates are coming for three devices in the next few weeks.
In addition, the document contains release dates for several low- and mid-end handsets that will launched in the next few months.
