People familiar with Apple, AOS product roadmap has leaked some interesting information about the next generation iPad which, according to a report, will boast high-density pixel display with a resolution sought from 2048x1536.
This, Äôll hard to get there, says Cnet, AOS resources, but Samsung and LG Display pushing hard to meet the yield rate imposed by Apple Inc. of Cupertino, Calif.-based
Reportedly, the goal is to have a Retina Display-like resolution, which means that the pixel density is so high that your eyes can not identify a single point of sitting next to.
On the iPhone, look at the average distance of about 12 inches, and 326 ppi (pixels per inch) Retina reaching effects. In iPad, viewing distance is greater, because the pixel density is, AOT must be a strong good.
But look at is dense, remain. According to sources related to Asia-based suppliers, showing the nearest iPad manufacturers can get 2048x1536 pixels.
Transmitted 264 ppi or 132 ppi twice iPad 2. This pixel density would result in what Apple calls Retina-quality display.
The only problem with this screen, AOS is difficult to make them in quantity. Per CNET, the source of AOS, "They have a production plan to show 2048x1536 Starting in November .. But only those plans at this point, "the source said, referring to Korea-based LG Display and Samsung.
"It's not a question of making only one, of course, can be done .. The challenge is to make a lot of it, "the source said. "This is a quantum leap in pixel density has not been done before .."
The report said that the LG and Samsung have a plan B, if they are not able to press the volume required by the American electronics makers - 1600x1200 temporary choice.
This screen is also expected to have a brightness of 550 nits. It is quite light, as a typical laptop display panel tops out at about 350 nits.
