Sprint Confirms Android 4.0 ICS for Galaxy S II, Epic 4G Touch and Nexus S
Sprint customers having doubts that the carrier will ever bother to update some of its most popular Android devices to Ice Cream Sandwich will be happy to know that there’s an official announcement concerning these smartphones.
It appears that Sprint has just confirmed it will start the rollout of the Android 4.0 Ice Sandwich to its customers sometime this year, but no release dates have been unveiled yet.
However, the carrier claims that the update will be available OTA (over the air) for a variety of devices, including Galaxy S II, Epic 4G Touch and Nexus S.
According to Sprint, the list of ICS-upgradeable devices is not limited to the ones listed above, so expect additional announcements in the coming months. Check out Sprint’s official statement here.

samsung galaxy nexus 5-megapixel camera is so speedy it's almost scary. As a result, though, some pics appeared blurry because it didn't seem like there was time for autofocus to kick in. Outdoor photos had good color saturation, but didn't deliver as much detail as the 8-MP cameras on the iPhone 4S and the Galaxy S II.
