The bootchart package is used, at the moment, to collect the boot speed results, which can be viewed on the Ubuntu Boot Speed Tracking website.
At the moment, various Ubuntu releases, including Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, Ubuntu 10.10, Ubuntu 11.04, Ubuntu 11.10 and Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Alpha 1, were tested on platforms like Dell Vostro 3400, Dell Mini 10, Samsung N150, Asus 1001Px, and Acer Aspire One D255.
The current tests were done using the 32-bit Desktop ISO image with auto-login enabled. For accurate statistics, the data will be collected only after the second reboot.
